Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

21st April 1926 – 8th September 2022

Plumpton Parish Council joins our community, our nation and peoples around the world in mourning the death of our late Sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

For 70 years Her Majesty the Queen, Britain’s longest reigning monarch, served our nation with grace and dignity. Over the Platinum Jubilee weekend in June the Plumpton community showed their love, appreciation and gratitude for Queen Elizabeth II in common with the huge crowds at other Jubilee celebrations all over the country.

Throughout her long reign she was the one constant in an ever-changing world, our Head of State with an unwavering sense of duty who dedicated her life to the throne and to the service of her people.

Book of Condolence has been opened and is located at All Saints Church, Station Road during daylight hours and will be closed the day after the state funeral.
