Plumpton Parish Council has in place,an Emergency Plan, set up in the event that a major emergency should occur in the village. Some details of the plan are listed below. A full copy of the Plan, contact details for emergency services and other agencies, can be obtained from the Clerk, if needed (details below).
Co-Ordinator:
Deputy Co-Ordinator:
Mr Richard Taylor (details below)
In case of an emergency the system below will operate starting from the North of the village to the South, with Parish Councillors either telephoning or running to report the emergency (if this is possible due to conditions). The Co-ordinator and Deputy Co-ordinator will contact the appropriate Emergency Services and will inform Lewes District Council and East Sussex County Council.

It is hoped that Councillors can then alert residents if instructions regarding the emergency need to be given.
