| INTRODUCTION |

With the planned re-opening of the Novington Sandpit and the potental impact on the village, the Novington Sandpit Residents' Commitee has been formed to address issues and concerns raised by residents of Plumpton and Plumpton Green. |
|
The committe will liaise with the relevant bodies to ensure the minimum inconvenince and distruption will be caused to residents. |
| The Novington Sandpit Residents' Committee is not a part of Plumpton Parish Council, though Plumpton Parish Council is represented on the committee by Carole Nicholson. |

| If you notice a traffic incident - a near miss, speeding, damage to roadside verges, excessive emissions, inappropriate parking, engines running when stationary, etc -involving vehicles using the sandpit (eg empty lorries heading towards the site or laden lorries travelling through Plumpton) please let the committee know, by sending an email to the address below: Please supply as much information as possible - type of incident, date, times, position, lorry number or registration plate, photograph if possible. |
